Summary

PRTG Network Monitor is prone to multiple vulnerabilities.

Insight

Insight

PRTG Network Monitor is prone to multiple vulnerabilities: - The 'Npcap' 3rdparty library has been updated. Sending a malformed .pcap file with the loopback adapter using either pcap_sendqueue_queue() or pcap_sendqueue_transmit() results in kernel pool corruption. This could lead to arbitrary code executing inside the Windows kernel and allow escalation of privileges. (CVE-2019-11490) - An information disclosure vulnerability in the password recovery function. PRTG will not provide any information about user accounts anymore when you request a new password.
