Junos OS is prone to a denial of service vulnerability in RPD while processing RIP advertisements.

Certain RIP advertisements received by the router may cause the RPD daemon to crash. While the RPD daemon restarts after a crash, repeated crashes of RPD daemon can result in an extended denial of service condition. This issue only affects devices where RIP is enabled.
